Well, there goes MY last illusion. You and John were the PERFECT couple. You were the envy of everyone...so much in love. Unconventional, but clearly in love. You had what we all wanted...and believed MUST exist, even if we didn't have it.
How's a girl to go on without hope? I know of NO 'perfect' relationships...not even close. Who in the hell lead us to believe they could even exist. Expectations aren't the death of happiness, they just fog the picture and leave us feeling cold-cocked by reality.
